About Jameis

A Journey of Determination and Excellence

Winston was born in Bessemer, Alabama on January 6, 1994. He attended Hueytown High School, where he played both football and baseball. Winston was considered among the best quarterback recruits in the nation in 2011 and he earned the Gatorade Player of the Year recognition for the state of Alabama. He led Hueytown to a state championship during his junior year.

Winston followed up his Heisman-winning season with a stellar sophomore year, throwing for 3,907 yards and 25 touchdowns while leading FSU to a school-record 26-straight wins and a berth in the inaugural college football playoff. He finished his two-year career with a record of 26-1 as a starter, throwing for 7,964 yards and 65 touchdowns.

Jameis Winston's Dream Forever Foundation is based on Jameis' personal mission to DREAM FOREVER. Jameis' vision is to instill life fundamentals, such as perseverance, teamwork, work ethic and discipline and the power to achieve in dreams in the kids his foundation helps. The purpose of his foundation is to have a positive impact on the lives of financially disadvantaged children by providing encouragement, opportunities, and resources which enable the discovery, development, and eventually the achievement of their dreams.

The Mission

Jameis started his foundation so that he can teach children the importance of working hard, having a positive attitude and being a team player so that they can ultimately achieve their DREAM FOREVER. The foundation's mission is to impact the lives of financially disadvantaged children and youth through encouragement, opportunities and resources to develop and achieve their dreams.

Dream Rooms

This two-day event inspires and educates young people in Birmingham and nearby communities through football and leadership training. Past programs have featured distinguished speakers and community figures, including Inky Johnson and the Honorable Judge David Hobdy. The immersive experience fosters open dialogue between community leaders and the next generation.

Leadership Symposium & Dream Forever Youth Camp
